![]() ![]() ![]() The story within the computer simulation, aka Assassin's Creed Odyssey itself is a decent enough one though. It really is captivating to see the comparison between game generations sometimes, and this is one of those games that remind me of **** really is a wonder why Assassin's Creed tries to tell the future stories when we get so little of it to began with, and I get it can be a pace breaker sometimes, but I only really remember the beginning having a story bit and somewhere in the middle. Not to say, I'm exactly happy with the current industry trends, just that this was out of the realm of imagination in the 2000s. ![]() It's layers on layers of history and acting and really I just can't see anyone else, but a triple A team doing that stuff. ![]() Odyssey is certainly one of those games that doesn't feel like you can just playthrough the story with how much it offers to explore, see, do, and **** to the fact that not only are a lot of the characters just well written, but well written for their time period. Odyssey's map is ridiculously huge, and the amount of objectives, and content both during and post game are just dense. From enemy camps, cult assassination targets, family drama, mystic powers, and story missions, Odyssey gives you so much to chew about itself that it never feels like you will run out of things to do or places to explore. What I was shocked about tho was the drastic turn from normal stealth game, to RPG, and while it took time to adjust to the RPG mechanics, overall it was probably the more interesting of the two game types I know from the **** say the least about Odyssey is to say that there is a lot of it. I always did admire the Assassin's Creed games for doing a ton of research to how the past was, and I'm very happy with how Odyssey presented itself throughout. Having played the first Assassin's Creed game and Liberation into what was it's latest entry was interesting to say the least. ![]()
